Experienced TV Installer (Independent Contractor)
Toronto & GTA | Immediate Opening
Mount Masters is a professional TV mounting and audio-visual installation company serving Toronto and the GTA. We specialize in clean, safe, and properly engineered installations for homeowners and businesses.
We are currently hiring one experienced TV installer to join our team immediately.
This role is not entry-level and not a cash side gig. We’re looking for a reliable professional who already knows the work and takes pride in doing it right.

Compensation
$30/hour
Paid hourly, including travel time between installations
Guaranteed minimum of 3 hours for the first installation, with additional hours as work continues
Weekly payouts via eTransfer (invoice required from the technician)
Additional earning opportunities through upsells and commissions
Independent contractor position (not employment). Contractors are responsible for filing personal and/or business income taxes
Schedule & Availability
Primarily weekdays between 9am and 5pm
Optional weekend work available
Flexible scheduling
Minimum availability of 3 days per week
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2+ years of professional TV mounting experience.
You must be comfortable with:
Drywall, concrete, lath and plaster, tile, and brick installations
Above-fireplace TV installations, including pull-down mounts
Wire concealment and cable management
Condo installs and working in occupied homes
A basic understanding of wall construction and load considerations
Additional Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Applicants must have:
Their own reliable vehicle with space to transport materials
A full set of power tools and hand tools (any missing tools must be purchased)
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Reliable time management (showing up late to jobs is not acceptable)
Ability to work cleanly and safely in clients’ homes
Ability to lift heavy materials and TVs
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
Who This Role Is For
Experienced TV installers
AV or low-voltage installers
Skilled handymen with TV mounting experience
Former Geek Squad or similar installers
Electricians or apprentice electricians
Who This Role Is Not For
Beginners or trainees
Installers without tools or a vehicle
Cash-only side gigs
Unreliable or inconsistent workers
